Family Storytime: Jokes & Tricksters!
Join us Saturday, April 1 at 9:30 am for fun stories about jokes and tricks, songs, a simple craft, and a snack will put you in the mood for spring! This family program is appropriate for ages 6 and younger, but everyone is welcome. Children who have not completed kindergarten need an adult companion.
Reaching Out to the Senior Expo
The library will bring a pop-up library to the Senior Expo event at the Total Fitness Rec Center on Friday, April 7 from 9:30am-1:00 pm. Guests will be able to get library cards, check out materials, learn about special programs for seniors, and find out more about what the library has to offer. If you are visiting the Expo be sure to stop by the library table to find out more and enter your name to win door prizes.
Video Game Afternoon
Come to the library on Saturday, April 8 from 1:00-3:00 pm for an afternoon of video games! The library will have its new Wii U gaming system set up in the Hoffman Room along with the Xbox 360 for everyone to come and get their game on! All ages welcome. Refreshments provided.
Bring your Nerf gun and ammo and head to the library for this bi-monthly Nerf War on Saturday, April 8 at 6:00 pm. Participants must be 13 or older and anyone under 18 must have a signed parental waiver. Registration requested as 10 people are required to hold the program and a max of 20 is allowed. Walk-ins welcome, if space allows. Participants must provide their own Nerf guns and ammo but no modifications to darts or guns to increase range or hitting power will be allowed.
National Library Week Open House
Join us Tuesday, April 11 from 6:30-8:00 pm for this special open house celebrating National Library Week. Come learn about all the services the library offers, view some photos of the library over the years, have some refreshments, and meet the staff and library board. Never been to the library? Now is the time to come check us out!
Coloring for Adults
Come relax and relieve stress by coloring on Thursday, April 13 from 4:00-7:00 pm. The library provides coloring sheets, colored pencils and light refreshments. To celebrate National Library Week, special library themed coloring pages and bookmarks will be available. No registration needed. Participants are welcome to come and go during the program. This program is open to adults 18 and older.
