Everybody needs a little help writing sometimes.  So whether you are interested in writing but haven't started yet or you are working on something that has you experiencing writer's block, use these on-line resources to help kick-start your writing process.  Don't forget the library also  has books on writing that you can check-out!

YouTube has lots of videos on how to write, writing advice from well-known authors, as well as exercises on how to come up with ideas.  Once you go to YouTube, type in "beginning writer" in the search box and dozens of videos come up.  Browse through and see which ones inspire you!

Writer's Digest - This is the companion website to the magazine.  Offers writing advice and helpful hints, hosts writing competitions, editor's blogs, and a list of resources for the aspiring writer. - An on-line community for writers of all interests and skill levels.  Offers writing tools and opportunities for creation and inspiration.

Fiction Factor - On-line magazine for fiction writers

She Writes - On-line community for female writers

Writer's Digest University - Place where you can workshop a book you are working on

The Next Big Writer - a site dedicated to helping you become the next big writer

Fiction Writer's Review - on-line literary journal by, for and about emerging writers

Fiction Week - a meeting place for readers and writers of fiction

Publetariat - site dedicated to the indie author
