Strength Training for Older Adults
Older adults of any age and fitness level are invited to join this special exercise program made possible by a partnership between the Geri-Fit® Company and the James Kennedy Public Library. Participants will exercise to a Geri-Fit® DVD and most of the exercises will be performed seated in a chair. There is no dancing or aerobics involved. Each participant will need a set of 2 or 3-pound dumbbell weights, a medium weight stretch band, and water to drink. This program will continue through the fall and winter. Space is limited so registration is required. New attendees welcome at any time if space allows.
