Join us for this science cafe style reading, viewing, and discussion series on extreme weather and climate change.  At this third session participants will focus on strategies for managing environmental challenges like extreme heat, flooding, and water scarcity, with long term improvements in mind.  What can we do to build resilience and adapt? This gathering includes a discussion of the book  A Sugar Creek Chronicle: Observing Climate Change from a Midwestern Woodland by Cornelia Mutel.  Registration and reading the book is encouraged but not required.  Pick up a pamphlet for more details. Refreshments provided.

This resource is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by State Library of Iowa.
