Credit is an important part of the financial world. This program will focus on credit - what it is, how to get it, how to check credit history and what is credit score. You will also learn how to improve your credit situation and how this impacts insurance, employment, creditors and landlords. All ages are welcome but this program should be of special interest to young adults just graduating from high school or college and starting their independent life. These programs are being presented by Susan Taylor, Family Finance Specialist, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Dubuque County. Registration is requested as space is limited. Walk-ins welcome if seats are available.
This program is part of the The Smart Investing @ Your Library program, which is made possible through a $72,438 grant to Iowa Library Services of Iowa funded by the American Library Association (ALA) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Investor Education Foundation.
