Have you every wanted to learn how to play the ukulele but didn’t know where to start? Do you have a uke and want someone to share the fun with? Here is your chance! The JKPL is partnering with Sue Engelbrecht to start a ukulele club. The first meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 17 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with future meetings tentatively scheduled for the 3rd Monday of each month. Uncle Ike’s music store in Dubuque will be providing six loaner ukulele’s for people to try out and Sue will teach some basics. Plan to learn during the first hour and play the second! All ages and abilities invited to join this fun new group but children under the age of 14 require an adult companion.
