The James Kennedy Public Library is pleased to partner with the Riverview Center to present “Reading for Change” a traveling book club for the Dyersville area. This new book club will meet on the first Thursday of each month to discuss a book centered on the topic of sexual violence. Jessica Pape, a Violence Prevention Educator with Riverview Center, will facilitate the discussion and copies of the books will be available to check out from the library.

Room by Emma Donoghue will be the first selection. We will meet for a discussion of this book in the Hoffman Room of the James Kennedy Public Library from 6:00 to 7:30 pm on Thursday, September 6. This club is appropriate for all ages Middle School and older. Registration is requested to ensure that enough copies of the books are available.
