To celebrate Halloween the library will be hosting a costume and craft party for children of all ages. Spooky stories will be read, children’s costumes will be judged and treats handed out. After the costume judging, kids will be trick-or-treating at some of the businesses on First Avenue. The trick-or-treating will conclude by 11 am followed by a simple craft at the library. Children of all ages are encouraged to attend, but children younger than 6 years old should be accompanied by a parent or other adult.
