Looking for a good movie? The library has a collection of over 200 classic movies featuring stars such as Cary Grant, John Wayne, Shirley Temple, Marilyn Monroe, Humphrey Bogart and many more.  We also have comedies by Abbott and Costello and the Marx Brothers.  The movies are available in either VHS or DVD depending on the title.  Some of the movies we have in both formats.

Our classic movie collection is the focus now through November 15^th, so the majority of the movies have been relocated to the spinner rack next to the DVD section to make it easier for you to browse.  But we have so much we just couldn’ t fit everything on the spinner rack so if you can’t find it check the rest of the DVD collection or simply ask and we’ll be happy to help you find the movie you’re looking for.  And if you want suggestions for good classic movies to watch we can help you with that too!

If you have never browsed our classic movie collection I would recommend that you start now.  We have movies like Gone With the Wind, Casablanca, and The Sound of Music, which are considered three of the best movies ever made.  We have westerns featuring John Wayne and Robert Mitchum, comedies featuring Bob Hope and Danny Kaye, and dramas featuring Humphrey Bogart and Jimmy Stewart.  If musicals are more your style we have several featuring Fred Astaire, Bing Crosby, and Shirley Temple.
