Knitting or Crocheting Class  - - - Wednesdays, October 13, 20, & 27  at 6:00 pm.  Do you want to learn how to knit or how to crochet? Join Leah McCool at the James Kennedy Public Library in her 3-part class where she will cover the basics of either crocheting or knitting. Classes will be held on Wednesdays, October 13, 20, and 27, from 6-8 pm.  Registration is required and class size is limited. To register, please call the library at 563-875-8912 by October 11.  When you call, please tell the staff member which craft you would like to learn.  Whichever has the most interest will be offered.  If there is interest in both classes, a second class will be offered on Wednesdays in November.  Materials for both classes include sugar and cream yarn.  For knitting you will need size 7 needles.  For crocheting you will need a size G hook.
