If you are looking for something to do on your day off of school, why not come to the library for a special reading event?  Independent readers of all ages are welcome to come to the library for a Read-In.  You may bring your own book or choose from a special shelf of Iowa Children’s Choice Award and Iowa Teen Award books.  The event will take place in the Hoffman Community Room with comfortable seating, pillows and beanbags.  We’ll provide snacks and beverages.  All participants will have their names entered into a drawing for paperback copies of some of the award books.  Reading will end at 3:30, when interested attendees will have the opportunity to talk about what they have been reading.
