Every year the library holds a Summer Reading Program for youth.  Young people read, earn prizes, attend special programs, and have lots of fun!  The theme for the PreK- 5th grades is “Make a Splash@ Your Library.” Participants earn prizes by reading and submitting a reading log verifying the amount of time read.  Prizes will be awarded as participants complete a specific number of hours read.  All participants who read 12 hours in the six-week program are eligible to attend a pool party to be held August 7.
