As part of the library’s celebration of it’s 50th anniversary, we will show the “best film” of each decade according to www.toptenreviews.com. To Kill a Mockingbird, which was released in 1962, is based on the 1960 Pulitzer Prize Winning novel by Harper Lee. Atticus Finch, a lawyer in the Depression-era South, defends a black man against an undeserved rape charge, and his kids against prejudice. This film stars Gregory Peck. Refreshments at the film may be in keeping with the decade honored. Not Rated.
