This group gathers on the first Monday of each month to discuss different books selected by the group.  Everyone is welcome to come, listen and share.  Bring your lunch, if you wish.  Dessert and beverages are provided by the participants or the Friends of the Library.  Copies of each title should be available to borrow from the library.  This month’s title is the true story "Into the Wild" by Jon Krakauer.  After graduating from college, Christopher McCandless, a top student and athlete, abandoned all his possessions, gave his entire savings account to charity, and hitchhiked to Alaska to live in the wilderness.  Four months later he is found dead.  Using his diary, letters, and notes found at a remote campsite, author Krakauer puts together the story of what happened.
