This group gathers on the first Monday of each month to discuss different books selected by the group.  This month the group will read Bet Your Bottom Dollar by Karin Gillespie.  Running the local general store for their small-town South Carolina community - where everything “costs only a dollar, and coffee and gossip are free” manager Elizabeth enlists her two fellow shopkeepers and a crew of friends to save the store from a rival who would put her out of business.  Readers will enjoy this novel full of southern wit and down-home advice from a group of quirky characters.  Everyone is welcome to come, listen and share.  Bring your lunch, if you wish.  Dessert and beverages are provided by the participants or the Friends of the Library.  Copies of the book are available to borrow.
