BIG READ events will continue at the James Kennedy Public in Dyersville with the “Maltese Movies” film series.  This series will kick off on Sunday, February 3 at 2:00 pm with Satan Met a Lady.  In this 1936 comedic version of Hammett’s classic The Maltese Falcon, private detective Ted Shane is one of several people searching for the ‘Horn of Roland,’ a valuable artifact filled with jewels.  Bette Davis and Warren William star in this unrated 74 minute black and white film.
