Classic noir film and hard-boiled detectives are the focus for this film.  Walter Neff, an insurance agent, and Phyllis Dietrichson, a greedy blonde bombshell, plot to bump off Phyllis’ husband and collect the insurance in Double Indemnity, a classic noir film based on the hard-boiled detective novel by James M. Cain.  This 107 minute black and white film stars Barbara Stanwyck and Fred MacMurray.
