Tired of the cold and snow?  Join us at the library in dreaming about warmer climates.  Wear your summer and vacation clothes (over a sweater, if you must) and stop in the library for snacks and punch.  Check out our warm weather travel book display and romantic books and films.  At 3:00 pm we will show the classic film "Some Like It Hot" starring Marilyn Monroe as a ukulele-playing vocalist in an all-girl band.  Tony Curtis and Jack Lemon play two musicians on the run from the mob.  They join this traveling all girl troupe by donning make-up and dresses to hide their identity.  Some Like It Hot is a hilarious film that takes you from the cold of Chicago to the heat of Miami Beach with a lot of laughs and adventures along the way.  This 1959 film is not rated.
