Betty Lou Perkins is a small town librarian – creative, studious, meek and hardworking.  When she finds a gun in the park, she takes it to the police, but they ignore her.  Frustrated, she fires the gun and ends up confessing to the crime.  She wants to prove that she isn't as mousey and predictable as everyone seems to think she is - especially her husband (a cop)!  While in jail she is given a transformation into a bombshell by several of the other women inmates. When she appears for her arraignment no one (least of all her husband), can believe it's her.  This lighthearted and entertaining film is rated PG-13.  Popcorn and beverages provided by the Friends of the Library.
