Special presentation by Tom Snyder.
Join Dyersville resident Tom Snyder as he celebrates Earth Day by sharing this program on how to save on energy costs. Snyder, Past President and Co-founder of the Iowa Renewable Energy Association (I-Renew) and the Iowa Electrathon, was a science and math teacher for more than 30 years. He has taught energy classes as well as written numerous articles on energy issues. He also presents I-Renew workshops on these topics. At this program, Snyder will share more than 20 ways to save energy. His suggestions range from the simple and inexpensive (use storm windows) to more complicated or expensive (solar panels, fuel efficient cars). Bring your questions and come learn more about how to save energy. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library.
