This film is based on the book “December Boys” by Michael Noonan.  In the late 1960s, four close-knit orphans in Australia leave their orphanage for a holiday by the sea. While there, they hear a rumor a couple is going to adopt one of them and their friendship is tested and new alliances made as the four boys compete for the chance to gain a real family.  This film is rated PG-13.  Popcorn and beverages provided by the Friends of the Library.
