Children ages 8 to 18  are invited to learn to crochet and make an afghan square.  The squares will be assembled into an afghan to donate to Toys for Needy.  Crochet experts, novices and everyone in between are invited.  Parents, grandparents or other adults are also welcome.  Participants will need a size G crochet hook, scissors, and one skein worsted weight acrylic yarn (we may have some available).  The completed afghan will be displayed in the library with the participants’ names before being donated.  Registration is requested.  Cookies and beverages will be provided.
