Celebrate Jane Austen’s birthday (December 16) by enjoying this 2005 film.  Based on Austen's beloved novel about the five single Bennett sisters, “Pride and Prejudice” is the story of  a proper English family turned upside down when the wealthy Mr. Bingley and his best friend Mr. Darcy arrive. Stubborn Elizabeth Bennett crosses paths with the impossibly snobbish Mr. Darcy and discovers that the only man she can't stand may be the only man she will ever love. This film stars Keira Knightley, Matthew MacFadyen, Judi Dench, Donald Sutherland and is rated PG.  Popcorn and beverages provided by the Friends of the Library.
