A special presentation all about fossils and dinosaurs.
"Fossil Guy" Don Johnson from Cedar Rapids, IA will present a program titled "Twilight of the Dinosaur Age" at the James Kennedy Public Library. Learn about the last dinosaurs to roam the earth including Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, duck-billed dinosaurs, raptor dinosaurs, and more. Some of the fossil bones of "Laura, the Duck-billed Dinosaur" will be on display (learn more at www.paleoproject.org). See other genuine dinosaur fossils including bones, teeth, and claws! View dinosaur replicas including a T-rex jaw, duck-bill skull, and raptor skeleton, just to name a few. Was. T-rex a scavenger or a predator? How did the duckbills chew their food? What made raptor dinosaurs such vicious killers? Did dinosaurs care for their young? Get answers to these questions and more. Come prepared to ask your questions as well. Don will share his experiences hunting for dinosaur fossils in Montana to conclude the program. Everyone is welcome!
