Tying in with the Summer Reading program theme of mysteries, the library will show a variety of mystery films on Saturday afternoons through July.  This week's movie is "The Rescuers".  This full-length animated feature, combines comedy and drama into a fun experience for the whole family.  Two mice, Bernard and Bianca, members of the world's only international mice squad, set out to save a kidnapped orphan named Penny from the clutches of the villainous Madame Medusa, who needs the little girl to help find a priceless diamond.  There's alligators, swamp critters and evil villians to overcome in this spellbinding tale of treasures and escapes and near misses and ultimately, of rescues.  This Disney film is rated G.  Popcorn and beverages are provided by the Friends of the Library.
