About the Adult Summer Reading Program and how to sign up.
Back by popular demand is the JKPL Adult Summer Reading Program. Anyone age 18 or older is welcome to participate in this special reading program. Join by signing up at the library and picking an "alias". Participants will receive a bookmark and book bag when they sign up. Participants are asked to write brief reviews for each book read during the summer. For each review submitted, the participant's name will be entered into a drawing for prizes. Those reading at least 8 books during the summer will be entered into a drawing for a special "Book Lovers" basket. This program runs from June 1 to August 31, 2007.
